General Guidelines for Abstract Submission


  • Abstracts are to be submitted for Podium presentations, E-Posters and Video workshop.
  • Abstracts should be submitted under a particular topic category after choosing an appropriate topic category from the list provided below.
  • The paper once submitted in the award paper category will be evaluated by a panel of reviewers. If not suitable for the Award paper category, it can be considered for Free paper category or E-poster category (if author had permitted to do so during submission).
  • Maximum of 3 abstracts by a single presenter can be submitted across categories.
  • Decision of abstract acceptance will be communicated by e-mail to the submitting author by 15th September 2026.
  • Residents are required to submit a letter from their Head of Department certifying the authenticity and category of their paper. This is mandatory for abstract selection. Please email the letter to apsicon2026@gmail.com, ensuring you include your Abstract Number and Conference Registration Number.

Abstract Preparation Guidelines


  • To ensure blinded review, no identifying features such as names of authors, collaborators, hospitals, medical colleges, clinics, or places should be listed in the title or text page of the abstract. Author details and their affiliation(s) should be entered online while doing the submission.
  • Title should be written using 'Sentence case' and should be brief and self-explanatory.
  • Avoid abbreviations in the title.
  • Word limit of the abstract is 250 words. (Excluding title, authors, their affiliations, etc.)
Structure of the abstract for original study should be:
  1. Background
  2. Materials and Methods
  3. Results
  4. Conclusions
Structure of the abstract for case reports, case series, and procedure should be:
  1. Introduction
  2. Case report/series/procedure
  3. Conclusion
  • Refrain from using keywords, graphs, figures, tables, or references in the abstract.
  • Conflict of interest statement and declaration of conflict is mandatory.
  • Use generic names of drugs or its active pharmacological content, avoiding commercial names of drugs/companies.
  • Limit the use of abbreviations and acronyms in the abstract.
  • Abstracts will be reproduced as such, therefore the onus of ensuring proper language, factual accuracy, & responsibility of avoiding plagiarism lies with the authors.
  • Non-adherence to any guideline may result in an automatic rejection of the abstract.
  • Once uploaded successfully, you will receive acknowledgement on your registered email.
